"Ya No Llores Tlaloc" translates to "Don't Cry Tlaloc" - an ode of empowerment to the Aztec God of rain, earthly fertility and water. This artwork started in 2014 and was slowly perfected to completion over the span of 6 years! A masterpiece from an extremely talented upcoming punk artist. This artwork was featured as the centerpiece in the Destroy Art Inc "Welcome to 1984//2020: Punk on the Western Front" exhibition from Feb/March 2020 in SF, CA.

Abe Garcia from Los Angeles, is a printmaker, artist, analog graphic designer and typographer. He is the co-owner of the famed DIY punk store Descontrol Punk Shop. Abe's art are often expressions of his struggles of being a punk rocker in an oppressed community of color. Being queer and Native American/Xicanx, Abe's works are inspired messages of open-mindedness, equality, unity and anarchism.
