Jesica Giovanetti
Jesica Giovanetti (b. 1990), hailing from San Pedro, Argentina is a self- taught illustrator specializing in anthropomorphic 2D characters depicting animals as punk rockers and musicians. Utilizing pencils to sketch her characters on paper then digitally coloring them, Jesica is inspired by her childhood TV cartoons such as ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ and punk music. Her adorable, expressive, humorous characters may be interpreted as political statements or are quite simply punk rock fantasy creatures smoking pot. Jesica wishes to evolve in her art and message through education and practices her craft daily to constantly improve her technique.
