Craig Vincent Woodhull aka DNGRCT is an Oakland-based multimedia DIY punk, street artist & designer. He is also the co-creator and founder of Destroy Art Inc. 

Craig is a direct descendant of Victoria Woodhull the first woman ever to run for US President in 1872, with Frederick Douglass as her running mate. Going further back through US history, Craig’s legacy continues as relation to two key Revolutionary War figureheads Nathaniel Woodhull and Abraham Woodhull, who was the main character of the AMC series Turn with “America’s First Spy” the tagline.

Carrying on the torch of revolution, Craig has an inclination towards political, societal and personal empowerment narratives illustrated through thought-provoking, explosively energetic punk rock aesthetics art, mainly working with collage, canvas, paper, film, sculpture, graphic design, writing, installation, street art and music. 

Craig got involved in he local NJ punk scene early 90's running a punk record label and was a vocalist in several punk bands such as The Degenerics, Kamikaze and Plastic Cross and his current new East Bay based deathrock band is called DYING. He has toured extensively throughout the US and continues to play music and book local shows. 

Craig has also curated over 100+ art shows under DESTROY ART including such venues as Subliminal Projects, Studio Fallout, Art Attack SF and more. He has also worked on public art projects with the San Francisco Aquarium & has exhibited his artwork all around the USA. His work has also been featured in Murze (UK), Beautiful Bizarre (Australia), Razorcake, Razorblades & Asprin, MRR & more. He has also designed multiple record covers and artwork for independent record labels such as Fat Wreck Chords, Don Giovanni, Soul Rebel, Beer City and Ernest Jenning Record Company.
